(Get the ebook here!)

Easter and Passover are just around the corner!  Are you ready?

Parents, are you constantly looking for ways to make holidays more meaningful for your family?  Things that lift the spirit from just bunnies, eggs, and chocolate to the glory and beauty at the root of our Holy Days?  Things that plant our focus on the Lord and His Redemptive plan for the whole world?

We have a resource for you!

A brand-new ebook from The Provision Room!

In this little gem, you’ll walk with your children through the 10 plagues Egypt experienced, finding the common thread of God’s Redemption and Love!  Along the way, your children will have Spring Cleaning assignments–some for the house and some for their hearts!  By the time Passover and Easter arrive your home and hearts will be ready to welcome the Risen Lord!

Excerpt from the introduction:

The act of deep cleaning the house is a prophetic act! It is a way we
demonstrate that we know we are sinners! As you clean you may find hidden
things. How did that banana peel get under the bed? Why are there crumbs
in the silverware drawer? How did the baseboards get so dusty? It is not
because you never do chores, I’m sure! But no matter how we try to keep up
with cleaning and be tidy, things will still get dirty! In the same way, we can
try to live a Christian life, do good works, go to church every Sunday and say
our prayers. But, guess what?! Sin will still creep in. If we are not careful
there may be small seeds of unforgiveness, moodiness, or ungratefulness that
try to hide in the little corners of our souls.

When Jews clean their houses of leaven, they take a candle and feather.
They shine the light in all the corners looking for anything they may have
missed in the light. This reminds us of what Jesus said about everything that
is hidden in the dark will be brought to the light! And we know Jesus is the
Light! (John 1:4-5)

While we clean our houses, we also ask that the Light of the Holy Spirit
would shine into all the corners of our hearts and reveal anything that
doesn’t look like Jesus! Spring Cleaning is a good time to forgive the past,
make amends with anyone we may have offended, and to show extra love–
especially to those people who may not seem so loveable.

Easter and Passover is just around the corner! This little book will help you
get your Spring Cleaning done before the holidays! Not only will we be
Spring Cleaning our houses, but Spring Cleaning our hearts, too!

The house cleaning assignments with each lesson are appropriate for children, not only letting them get the house clean but imparting to them a heart of love in service!  The heart-cleaning assignments are positive and child-friendly while challenging your children to a deeper walk with the Lord!  Connecting the spirit with action is a holistic and effective way to communicate principles of faith.

You Provision Room girls are too much!! I mean that in the best way 🙂 I can say yes to all your questions, except “are you ready?”. I was just thinking about how to celebrate Easter in a new way this year. I’m not against egg hunts, but I need something more! Looking forward to your ebook tomorrow.

What an excellent idea. I am dropping in from A Wise Woman Builds Her Home. I believe children can learn responsibility by having things to help with in the home.

Daja, what is an ebook? Is it for the Kindle or whatever you call it? Or is it something my computer can read once I download it? I’m unsure of how an ebook works except if purchased from Amazon. My husband has a Kindle “reader” but I’ve never used it or downloaded anything to it.

    Thank you & God bless–Andrea

It is in PDF format. So any computer with Adobe Reader (which is free to download online if you don’t have that program on your computer) can open it. You do not need to have a Kindle or other special reader or device.

Once opened, you are welcomed to print it for yourself if you prefer to have physical copies. Personally, I like paper copies of books. 🙂 I’m old-fashioned like that.
