July Goals

July is here and so are the lazy-hazy days of summer.  Around here that means lots of outdoor time, playing, swimming,  keepin’ the grill hot and the drinks cold!  We’re steadily working on our Top 100 To-Do List for summer.  We’re watching the garden grow and have already had our first vine ripened tomatoes.  Lovely.

With all this fun we want to make sure we take the balanced approach for our July Goals and keep them simple.

Our Big Girl Step.

We are heading to The Reformation of Food & Family Conference in San Antonio, Texas.  Road trip!!  We’ll be blogging, Face Booking, and Tweeting along the way to keep you posted on all the amazing things we learn.

Our Baby Steps:

  1. We’ll keep doubling at least two meals per week, except for our Cooking Vacation week!  (Another three months have gone by so we get to have a vacation from major cooking and eat from our provisions.)
  2. Tend the garden.  We’ve planted those lovely edibles, and to get the most out of them, we have to take care of them just a little.
