Guest Post: Cooking At Home by Alyssa (age 9)

May 17, 2012

Why is it important to cook at home?  How do you get kids involved?

Eating out is expensive.  You can feed a family of 4 for the same price as one person eating out and that’s a lot of money!  Most people think that fast food is good, but on the other hand it is just reheated frozen food.  Yuck!  Fast food meat is not real meat.  Free range meat actually has real flavor.  Not like reheated frozen food.

Don’t waste your money on fast food.  Be a home cook.  You need to teach the next generation how to cook.  It’s your responsibility to teach the next generation that its not okay to spend your money on reheated frozen food.
